Friday Photo Fun: Nature

Friday Photo Fun is when I share a randomly captured moment,
or perhaps a photo experiment with more purposeful intent,
then pair it with a rhyming riddle to exercise your mind
and teach you more weird facts to which you once were blind

It's cold looking but also beautiful,
sometimes said to be too plentiful,
brought from South Africa to stabilize
U.S. beachfront railroad ties.

So, what is this thing I shot in nature?
I await your guesses... catch you later!

    2. Rachel, after I thought about it I remembered from living in Ca. that they use Iceplant on just about every slope, incline, hill, etc. that is subject to erosion problems because it grows fast!

  8. Hello Rachel.
Never heard of ice plant before. When I first looked at it, I thought it was perhaps celery! Saw some photos of it in Wikipedia. It's actually quite pretty.
Learned something new. Thanks for sharing.
