Friday Photo Fun - Something Sepia

Friday Photo Fun is when I share a randomly captured moment,
or perhaps a photo experiment with more purposeful intent,
then pair it with a rhyming riddle to exercise your mind
and teach you more weird facts to which you once were blind.

Something Sepia

One of those dangers that lurks everywhere,
Neglected, could still have been used if shown care,
Their colorization can be prevented with nail polish,
And supposedly the drink named for them is delish!

So, what is this Sepia thing?
I eagerly await the guesses you'll bring.

    1. Well, Mr. "that's tough"... you're right! It is two strips of rusty nail gun nails. :) Well done!

    2. Ha, ha, ha! I was looking up and down and still couldn't see it. Only when I actually looked at it from side to side could I see it...barely :)

    4. Thank you, Mark! I definitely thought the picture was abstract enough. :)

Mary, so cute. :) Yep, gotta look at it from all angles. I like imagining my readers holding their laptops in strange positions and tilting their heads... :)

  6. A rusty nail, perhaps, as someone said in the comments above that I didn't read...oh, whoops.

(Blogger has gone to a new captcha system, and I don't like it at all. Do I really need to 20/20 vision and ability to forensically reconstruct documents that were burned in a fire to prove that I'm a human being? Dial the difficulty back a little on these Blogger!! *sigh* Okay, moving on.)

  7. Hello Rachel.
When I first saw it, I immediately thought it was shutters on a window. I even saw the roof too!

Bryan...I'm with you my friend. If I know the blogger, like Miss Rachel here, I'll try & persist with the verification, but if the blogger is not all that familiar to me...I'll just move on!
