Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

A Seussical Soul
by Rachel Hoyt

I have a Seussical soul.
When I read Seuss I feel whole.
My imagination spews emulation,
I've a fascination with nameification,
And seek ideation and illumination,
While rhyming in timing,
Vocab-imbibeing,
And smiling
Soul.

    1. But of course! Had to use it though... My man Jack Donaghy from 30 Rock got me started using that word. :)

    1. Thank you, Kim! I actually wasn't following any poem form plan when I wrote it, but it sort of turned into a shape poem. Does it look like a heart to you? :)

  13. I LOVE IT! Dr. Seuss is one of the favorites around our house. I wish I grew up reading his books, but no matter - now that I have kids, I have an excuse to get all his books!

Rhyming or not, I would like a lot to hear the thoughts my words brought...
