Wacky Word Wednesday - Nugatory

Nugatory
by Rachel Hoyt

Something nugatory
wouldn't be a star in a story.
It's like moss on a tree.
You'd be lucky to see
something nugatory -
not important to me.

    1. It's good to ignore those things.
There's nothing great that they bring. :)

  2. Hmm, I've heard of "negatory", as in "That's a big negatory, Sarge." I figured nugatory would be the same thing, but in nugget form or perhaps with a nougat center. Mmmmm....

    1. Negatory was the first word I saw of when I found nugatory as well! We said negatory a lot in my family. :)
